Bloom In Glory was founded in 2020 by Kimberly Brown — award winning and published floral designer, wife and mom of two. Kimberly was born and raised in Connecticut and had her first job as a florist intern at 15years old in year 2000. Life brought her into being a healthcare hero and she eventually implanted herself in Orlando,FL at the beginning of 2014. She has educational background in horticulture and nursing. Though she had so much purpose in her career, her love of flowers came second to none. Kimberly has always had a passion for flowers. She grew up helping her Papa in his garden and admiring the show stopping front yard floral landscaping created by her father at her childhood home. With Her father’s passing in 2018, there wasn’t a florist in the small town he lived in and at 6months pregnant, Kimberly created all of his floral tributes in her hotel bathroom. This sparked the thought of.. if she can create with a huge belly in a hotel bathroom, what else can she do?! She decided to see where her passion for floral design would lead while maintaining her safety net job in healthcare. Fast forward to 2020 and with the emergence of COVID, the health care industry was not so safe anymore. She, with much prayer and guidance from her husband, sister, pastor, family, and friends..decided to take a leap of faith, let go of her job, and watch her dreams Bloom In Glory— honoring God every step of the way. Bloom In Glory began as a leap of faith and a path for Kimberly to pursue what God intended for her hands and gifts. Now, (a few years and thousands of flower arrangements later), Kimberly is the proud owner of the only Black-woman owned, full-service flower shop in Orlando, Fl!
